A visit to the Leicester Botanic Garden

I have to report with a little bit of sun, and absolutely no rain thankfully!! There are so many lovely corners in the Garden, which also has some wonderful outdoor sculptures. I found myself in the Sunken Garden with the rocks, and some gorgeous light mauve flowers catching the sunlight to give a lovely focal point.

  1. Pleased that this painting was done in the dry. I like the simplicity of this pic with the varying greens, the contrasting rocks and path and a hint of delicate coloured flowers. I want to visit these gardens.

  2. Hi Sheila, this painting is lovely. You captured the scene really well, just as I remember it and the light on the flowers is just right
